i think that singapore should step up their defence on terrorist and any kind of external threat.
singapore govt should try to restrain offending any govt if there is a peaceful solution can resolve the situation. religous matters should be a very important aspects in policy making
of course remain high defence readiness is not the way to solve problems but is just a short term solution to the problems but to really defence ourselves from terrorist best way is to join international effort against terrorists
god speed to those who have lose their lives and also to those who declare war on america -

Well...u not only cannot differentiate between arabs, malays and muslims, u seem to be living in an idealistic world. Do you not know that many bright students from the minority races can't get into their local universities? There have been racial riots up till 1969 in Malaysia, but riots still occur for several reasons(eg Anwar) . The Malays still enjoy bumiputera status and have advantages socio-economically. I am rather surprised at MUIS' decision to avoid any discussion of this topic. They claimed that it will unravel the social fabric in a multi-religious society. Even Islamic countries like Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have given their support to the US, why can't MUIS just even express sorrows for the deaths at NYC WTC?
