I would like to deviate from the topic just a little based on this road rage incident.
When i first passed driving, i managed to acquire my mom's car for weekend trips to campus (back when i was still schooling). On one such occasion, there was this motocylist who was tail-gating me. He actually flashed and horned me a couple of times while he continued his dangerous stunt.
Several times i tried to move over, but a constant stream of vehicles kept me from doing so. Eventually, i guess the rider got fed up and chanced an opening in-between my car and the car next to me. He made it thru the gap but almost immediately, he pulled up infront of me and slowed down considerably, surprising me and forcing me to brake as well. All this while there was no vehicle in front of him.
He continued to hog the right lane. In my mind he was deliberately taunting me and moments later i was right, for he cut across three lanes and filtered off into choa chu kang. For all of 10 sec there, i lost control.
I accelerated and chased him across the highway while he was lane-changing. There was no doubt in my mind that i intended to ram him if i could. It took me several moments to suddenly come to my senses and slow the vehicle down, glancing to see him speed of down the fliter way.
In that 10 sec, i almost became a road raging killer. It was a moment of spite, anger and emotional instability that made me a danger to other road users.
Thankfully, it was through this incident that made we realise that such cases aren't worth pursuing. Inconsiderate road users and bullies are a fact of life. Either we deal with it or quit driving. While i still get incensed at poor drivers who drift from lane to lane and tail gate, i no longer bother staring at them when i overtake them or they overtake me. To me, ignoring them and my personal safety is far more important.
Incidently, just for laughs, i was driving a little fiat uno at that time.

Your incident with the motorbike reminded me of my experience with an expatriate riding his 'million dollar' bicycle down River Valley Road, and hogging the outer lane - when the left lane was clear of any traffic.
When I tried to pass him on the left, he swerve threateningly to occupy the left lane, and left me to follow at the speed of his bicycle down slope along River Valley towards Liang Court.
I honked at him, and he challenged me to pass him on his right, that will require me to cross the double white lines dividing this four lane River Valley Road.
I took the challenge and passed him with the double line running down the center of my car, and slowed down ahead of him, while he taunted me with an Italian insult by gesticulating with his hands from below his chin outwards towards me.
I ignored him, and cruise at a speed that he could not possibly overtake me, and gave him a taste of his own medicine by swerving to the left lane to prevent him from passing me.
The traffic lights at River Valley Road and Tank Road stopped both of us, and all he could do was to glare at me, but did not have the guts to gesticulate me while both of us were stationary, and I was expecting him to do worse to my car before he takes off on his bicycle while I am stuck in the traffic.
When the lights turned green, he took off at a slow speed, this time hogging the center lane of a three lane road outside Liang Court, and holding up two more cars ahead of mine, while the slow lane on the left had a bus moving along, and the right lane had cars turning into Clarke Quay-Liang Court.
This is the type of arrogant chaps - an expatriate at that - who are asking to be runned down by an inexperienced driver, or cause a 'road rage' incident to happen by a short tempered driver to take out the pent up rage on idiots like him.
