Ethical implications of forced labor....

Im becoming very sick inside from the simple fact that we are 24hr automatons that are not appreciated and all the work that we do in NS is just a servile task at hand, people betray their own principles in order to save their own skin, knowing something is wrong but correcting it, while correct and good in itself, goes against the flow..thereby making a person lose faith in himself.Is there any justice?
Bloodsuckers who cannot survive in any other environment are camping around, collecting their fat paychecks while arrowing ppl without compunction..without regard and without care for their charges.There are times when I truly feel that today's NS is an evil place compared to the lofty ideals which our founding fathers had. It is flawed right now because of the way things are run.Anyone agree?

The only way to correct it, is to be on top of the pile, then move that pile.
If the pile cannot be moved from the top, try moving it from the various sides.
When a singular effort cannot move the pile, try net working with the efforts of a few more like minded persons.
You will be surprised how inertia will soon be gone, when your good effort can mobilize the guilt conscience and empathy of like minded person who needed the challenge, daring and enterprise of a Leader.
I am quite certain that those 'founding fathers' had encountered similar inertia and scepticism from the majority in their ability to move that 'Pile'. -

To CenturionMBT, in simple layman’s terms, my post encourages one to be “On Top of the Pile” if you do not wish that “Pile” to overwhelm you
- meaning that you be the ‘Top Dog’ in a ‘Dog-eat-Dog World’.
If you cannot be the ‘Top Dog’ then try to work with others around you to change the situation that you are encountered with.
There will be people around you with the same feelings of being abused by the system, and all they need to get out of their inertia is for someone with the spirit of challenge, daring and enterprise of a Leader.
The founding fathers of Singapore would certainly encounter the same kind of inertia from a skeptical population that is used to the system and comfort of Colonial Rule. -
Good one, Atobe. My personal version of that view is that the status quo forms a fortress. If you don't like it, you can stand outside the fortress and chuck rocks at it. Ever so often, one of those rocks is going to bounce off the fortress walls and hit you in the head. Alternatively, you can work your way into the fortress and then do some real damage.
