Something has been in my mind for a long time about which industry will be growing in the coming yrs and what job is the best to all of u, if u has just graduated. What will u do? Setup ur own company or work for others? Suggest some reasons too. Thank You.

simple... the industry would be those which help people deal with stress...
note the spa industry is taking off... it will still grow for some time as it is still in its infancy now in singapore...
more and more people will need their services as the stress levels build and they have nowhere else to find solace... as they and their partners (if they have one) are equally stressed and are physically unable to do the intimate things like pampering each other and offering each other healing massages and stuff..
so they will go to these spas... -

Singapore has come a long way though and newer ideas like entrepreneurship are likely to be the in-thing come the 22nd century.
However, a note of caution. In the case of entrepreneurship, we cannot be sure how and in what direction it will take flight as entrepreneurship itself is too general a term. It might involve food outlets, innovations, electronic products etc etc, all of which will not be able to project a firm result in our overall profit markets.
For now, we should continue to look at emerging markets and new ideas with a teaspoon of salt and not see too much into these alternatives as yet. -

i know of people who end up doing something different from their course of study cos it is what they have always wanted to do (their passion). -
listen to budget speech and see where the govt is pumping money into.........

You want also can try out some jobs first and if you dont really like it, save up a sum of capital to go into business later.

Currently I am thinking of setting-up a company for robbers and thief but no thugs or gangsters.....!!!!
Coz I guess during these period of time when unemployment are high .... the market for robbing and stealing will be high ?????
All income will be subjected to 5o:50 with the company.Robbers and thieves will have all the benefits as any ordinary workers.With CPF and medical benefits.Can join the NTUC as members and so on.
How about that for entrepuenership???? LOL.

Lifestyle industry.
Those selling lifestyle goods are raking in money. Esp when people are getting more educated. -

ya..quite confusing...whether u shd work for people or open ur own business...
however one speaker at a talk i attended told us that dont study so much if u wan to start ur own business...if u wan to study alot, den go find a good-paying job...quite logical actually, since studying takes up much time....
however setting up own business is not easy at all...good ent.'ship skills and quality is not something easily attained...prolly one can be good at it naturally but this kind very seldom...and alot of effort and hardship must be injected if one wants to be successful...not discounting the fact that it can fail very easily/..
so thats why many ppl choose to work for people and draw regular salary....
