We are treated more like lifestock then human beings with a right to pursue their own path in life, and that's something that's pretty obvious. That's why we are called a Nanny state. How many times had the gar'men acted towards the people like a caretaker for life rather then an elected government?
In the book 'Animal Farm' written by George Orwell, the very industrious and intelligent PIGS organised a revolt of farm animals against the ill treatment of the Farmer.
They manoevered the animals with catchy slogans, and galvanised the wavering spirits of the animals in a determined effort to get rid of the Farmer - 'TWO Legs bad, FOUR legs good'.
Then there are the two legged birds, chickens, ducks - and intelligent excuses were made not to antagonise these part of the animal kingdom.
When finally FREEDOM was achieved, with the Farmer fleeing from the Farm, the PIGS continued to lead in the Farm.
With the help of a pack of Four Legged Dogs to police all the animals in the Farm, to ensure law and order, and to ensure that there is no thought of ALTERNATIVE or DEVIATIONIST THINKING.
Very soon the PIGS began to walk on TWO LEGS, and left the pig sty, and moved into the Farmer's House, they began to eat the food that the Farmer had left behind, and live the life style of the Farmer.
While the animals continued to live, work towards the economic well being of the Farm, the PIGS lived their lives in a world different from the Other Animals.
All Animals are EQUAL, but some are MORE EQUAL than others.
Some of the new born were selected from certain animals, taken away from their parents, and their grooming and education were separately taken care of away from all the other animals - to be groomed for the various functions of managing the Farm, and to ensure loyalty to the PIGS.
For further development of the book, read the complete chapters in the hard or soft copies available at most book stores.
George Orwell's other book titled '1984' seems also to become real, as Police Cameras are slowly and quietly becoming more pervasive throughout Singapore.
These are installed on most street corners and highways, looking innocently like street lamps but with a dark glass bowl below.
There are also surface radars and infra-red cameras dotting, at regular intervals, around the coast of Mainland Singapore and all the other outlying islands.
