A very interesting site, with quite a few interesting observations made that is totally relevant to the attitudes and character of our society in Singapore.
It will be a dangerous year ahead, when -

" ..........People that are supposed to be our best-educated and most responsible workers and thinkers seem to never even think for themselves anymore.
When they come across an idea that challenges their safety and comfort they attack it violently as lies and left wing propaganda.
Any idea that deviates from their narrowly defined version of reality is met with scorn and sarcasm."
"Free people can say "no".
Free people can refuse demands for their money, time, and children. Slaves cannot.
There is no freedom without the freedom to say "no". If someone demands that you do something and you can say "no" and refuse to do it, then you are a free human being.
If you can be forced to do something or surrender something that you do not wish to, then you are a slave.
No other test need be applied."
Can we say no to the policies implemented by our Government ?
Can we effectively convey to our Government our views that differ to that held by them ?
Can we effectively influence our Government to change their declared determination to implement any policies which we do not agree ?
Effectively 'NO' as we are all slaves to a system developed over a period since 1965.
It is sad when the better educated amongst us, remain resigned to the current situation, and are reluctant to swim against the tide to change the status quo.
