dunno, for me i cnt answer cause i tink the concept of too poor to get married is crap, cause all u nid is a small gathering of close frens n relatives. no nid crap stuf like wedding albums, grand ballroom dinners at hotels, inviting every tom dick n harry to it, thn of which follows big house, big car blah blah blah....

reason: there are people who are staving in singpaore just not as extreme as third world nations. singapore is not perfect just good at covering up and ignoring those out of the system/mainstream.
those who say no money to get married are thinking about a banquet, honeymoon, condo, car, miad, etc. if you can ignore social norms, ie forget the banquet and stuff, you will realise there is no such thing as "no money" to get married.

you can never be too poor to get married.
no one ever said you need a tuxedo and dress and diamond ring to get married. you don't even have to get married at ROM. i don't see anything wrong marrying with the moon as your witness. -
