1. Many reason are given for revealing the 12 JI students in ST today. How about the doctor who failed to detect SARS? Why was he not revealed?
2. SCDF defends sending patients to public hospitals even tho there are private hospitals which are nearer to the scene of accidents. One man died because of this rule. If the person who died had been a PAP MP or higher, would SCDF say the same thing? The incident of SM's wife in Britain comes to mind...
1. wat would be accomplished by revealing the name of the doctor who could not identify SARS?
2. tt man did not die from this rule - even the doctors were saying the difference in time taken might not haf made a difference.
but i understand wat u mean - there would be a greater hoo haa shud it be someone impt who died. and yes, i think scdf should drive emergency cases to pte hospitals who are sufficiently manned and equipped (this can be auditted easily, and for the pte hospitals, y not?) in fact i think scdf does so now, but only to the pte hospitals who "declare" to scdf as being sufficiently equipped. hope there wil be improvements in this area.
