Increasing rate of divorce cases in Singapore

  SK, these people come in with pension cards.
  They are younger than me. More than capable to work in a proper place and pay tax but they choose not to.
  Why should i pay for them to have 6 kids from 6 different fathers?
  
  And do you know how many of them cheat the system? They have nice houses and GOLD credit cards! Don't you worry. I have people coming in with loads of money in their pockets asking for concession rate entries.

  i think there are many reasons to the rising rate of divorce.
  
  1. women today are no longer submissive and suffer in silience.
  2. women are more independent. in some cases, they earn more than the men and will not think twice about divorcing and worrying about survival.
  3. changing norms. today nobody bats an eyelid to divorce any more.
  4. pple are less tolerant and less forgiving due to the pressure of survival.

  Women are getting smarter and they know divorce can make big money:
  - No need to work and still have income
  - No need to work and own housing
  - Free child, free food and education for child

  I think they don't bother to try and make things work.
  Cos the stigma attached to being a divorcee is no longer there, they wouldn't give two hoots about it.
