prejudice in system?

Hi there. In the SAF, is there prejudice towards homosexual people? I.e is there an official written document/law that is prejudice to homosexuals in the army? Like some kinda code that segregates them into seperate platoons and stuff.
Also other than just the SAF are there any discriminatory policies in Singapore that anyone isn;t happy with? -
It's commonly called the 302, m@a, after the form for declaring homosexuality.
The ostensible reason is that homosexuality works against the morale of combat units, since each man will have to count on the others, and vice versa, and it is felt that homosexuality is likely to create a trust issue amongst many of the men.
Also, conscientious objectors are placed in non-combat roles. Ironically, I know a Jehovah's Witness who became an armourer during his NS. -

I know of a friend who is a JW by right, but nothing happen, he was not a staunch believer.

i thought all the JWs were sent to DB for the entire 2.5 years. no booking out or visits.
my fren is a warden inside and he says it's full of them, they mostly do work like barbering, cooking and cleaning. -

Yeah, as I understand it, if you are a JW and you refuse to serve in a combat role, that's kinda OK, except you still get stuck with combat-related roles like armourer.

So we got a form for soldiers to declare homosexuality, and its called the 302, right? So what are the bad points of declaring u are gay in the army?

I believe, typical of our information-bound society, that the record follows you about for the rest of your life in Singapore, and perhaps this could turn out to be a disadvantage in terms of future employment opportunities.
Besides, the declaration in itself isn't enough - I think it needs to be corroborated by a full psychiatric evaluation. -
