And indeed it has worked very well in our countries too!

well..it must have worked for the nazis then but to say that such idealogies are applicable to our country is being thoroughly radical.
the germans at that time wanted to beleive their leaders..the lie that was brought upon them transcends beyond mere promises or hoaxes but the belief that they themselves as a soceity and a civilisatiion are supreme..
they follow out of incoherent faith and national patriotism
we follow due to ignorance and nonchalance...

I do think the part on repeating something as much as possible to make people believe.
Same thing with rumours.
Same reason as to why newspapers like Newpaper sell. -

singaporean are smart.
but ignorant in politics. they believe what the govt says. some complain about in the end still vote them come the election.
singaporean like to live in a world of lie. as long as they are still surviving why care about what the govt do or going to do.
singaporean also have a short memory.
if our country are rule under a Big lie, Singaporean are willing believer of the lie. -

Perhaps they don't believe it. They just don't know it is one, and memory fails to serve them right when the time to decide arrives.

just grumbling and no action is worse than suporting the current party. why just grumble and kopi talk? why not use their vote to show their thoughts?
