As for all this PAP stuff - it will all blow away, in 15 to 20 years time. I intend to be around to witness the birth of a new Singapore - and the ushering in of a new government.

Look at primary school kids. Obese / overweight ones are issued 'carbohydrate vouchers' to control what they eat. U expect them to grow up to be adults with their own set of thinkings this way? Very True. Some of our aged ministers are very crafty lot - able to read the minds of majority Singaporeans - able to psyche them using sweets and tricks.
Singapore's current economy depends heavily on trade with USA .
Our aged leaders are aware of this fact - in the past, Singapore was'nt a favorite son of USA.
Why? Because PAP law suits against several international medias - particularly US newspapers.....and of course the well-known use of the courts to bankrupt and silence opposition politicians angered freedom-loving Americans.
So, today, our government has to put on alot of political make-up to convince the West that we are a free democratic country. While our government think they have fooled the West - they can't fool me and many thinking Singaporeans!

i would be very sorry to watch PM Goh step down from what i must say has been a rewarding term in office.
I can't say i look foward to our future now that the son is earmarked (like how many decades ago?) as the next PM.
