Shouldnt blame u cos u were at ur bosses' mercy all the time. Never been a leader b4 and dont know tat its how difficult to lead. Sounds like a typical singaporean loser who is sore at everything and everyone. Think u need a good reflection of urself!
Lawsuits? If i dont like this country,i wouldnt say anything about it.U think i dont know how strict is the law here?It would be much more easier if i start a thread n bootlick our government. But that will be like when a person is doing wrong thing,n yet u praise him for doing it right. You think u are helping him?Perhaps my voice are unwelcome to some of u here, but my intention is sincere n have nothing to hide.I love this country, from childhood till now,i have no choice but to voice out if it goes to the wrong track.U can choose to ignore me if u think i am wrong,But,i have the right to voice my opinion,Becoz i am a Singaporean n i love my country!Originally posted by Bill GoldBerg:Moderator should close this thread now. It's unfair for our PM Goh. Undesirable and unnecessary.

juz say wat they want to hear..Originally posted by drawer:Sometimes i really dont understand miong,on one hand, the government encourage ppl to speak up.On the other hand, they seem like surpressing our right to voice. So,what are we suppose to do?To voice or not to voice?
Don't u understand it just a smoke screen(wayang) to make spore look democratic in the eyes of the public and foreign countries! Of course,PAP wish u to shut up on everything and follow what they say! If u say something which is right but unappeasing to PAP.They will try their best to get rid of u.Originally posted by drawer:Sometimes i really dont understand miong,on one hand, the government encourage ppl to speak up.On the other hand, they seem like surpressing our right to voice. So,what are we suppose to do?To voice or not to voice?
Look at primary school kids. Obese / overweight ones are issued 'carbohydrate vouchers' to control what they eat. U expect them to grow up to be adults with their own set of thinkings this way? Very difficult la.Originally posted by zenden9:Don't u understand it just a smoke screen(wayang) to make spore look democratic in the eyes of the public and foreign countries! By the way,I was wondering the control voucher effectiveness if the Obese / overweight after school go and eat more KFC and Mac??Originally posted by cooleo:Look at primary school kids. Maybe they will be threatened with CWO or no upgrading of flats for them.Originally posted by zenden9:By the way,I was wondering the control voucher effectiveness if the Obese / overweight after school go and eat more KFC and Mac??

The day opposition stops sending out clowns and jokers, will be the day i vote for them. During the last election, the opposition member for my GRC was one old ah pek whose name i dun even know, nor do i know of any contributions by him. U wan me to vote for him? Maybe not la.Originally posted by Xprobe:Absolutely fascinating...when the lid is opened or when stimulus is introduced, there is so much greivances and discontent.
Guys, do something about it. Use your vote.

Very True. Some of our aged ministers are very crafty lot - able to read the minds of majority Singaporeans - able to psyche them using sweets and tricks.
Singapore's current economy depends heavily on trade with USA .
Our ministers are aware, in the past,Singapore was'nt a favorite son of USA (based on Singapore's human rights violations in the past), so we have to put on alot of political make-up to convince the West that we are a free democratic country. While our government think they have fooled the West - they can't fool me and many thinking Singaporeans!
What do you call a country where -
an uncle was a president,
the son becomes a PM and Finance Minister
- his brother runs a big Singapore company,
and the wife controls the entire state companies(Temasek),
relatives sitting in GLCs boardrooms and holding big posts![]()
Is this democracry or dictatorship - the answer is elementary my dear friends.

You mean that hasn't already happened? When was the last time you were "allowed" to vote anyway? With their carefully planned elections they were already in power before anyone stepped to the polling booths.Originally posted by miong:could we one day, in the future loose our democracy, ...and turn Singapore into a full blown dictatorship government? Yours and mine future generation will loose the right to decide who governs Singapore.
I do agree with you FireIce!Originally posted by FireIce:he has been a good PM all the while
