2) Do you think the garmen is doing enough to encourage u to have more
gerrykoh
One is too little. The kid will be lonely & selfish cos he never learns to share. Two is enough cos it is very expensive to raise a kid- playsch, tuition, enrichment classes, university, uniforms, clothing, food, holidays - neverending things to pay which tax rebates does not cover. Also time spent having to look after them. If u are lucky, they turn up ok & filial. Anyway don't expect the kids to look after u when u are old. If govt. wants more babies, then cut maid's levy & more tax rebates esp to stay at home mums

one is enough. even the baby is your not govt, but the high living standard can be a killer for you and the future of your baby. not to forget our education is soon moving towards the direction of children self funding responsibility. is each year 25k for uni education. 4 year cost you $100k. having a children is not only making us happy, but to ensure the baby are also happy in the future. do you think the baby will be happy in Singapore?? our education system, materialism society, competitive society. dont make the baby suffer. have more when you are a top civil servants. easily a multi-millionaire.
