Changed for the better or the worse?

As most singaporean are concerned, our DPM Lee will soon be taking over the seat of the current PM Goh.
What are all of your views about singapore handed down to DPM Lee after his father who we know as SM Lee now.
Does DPM Lee gave you the confident that he can lead us toward the next few year? -
considering his track record and how he speaks whenever he opens his mouth i would say we're doomed

I don't think much of him as a minister or a man. As much as I don't like his father, I give LKY his due credit. This person however... Singapore is doomed.

In my opinion, he's just a very good Economist. Good towards who's end, that's for time to tell.
There's no faulting our government, because whatever they do, is ALWAYS correct, and good for us all. -

i wonder what would the day after he take over the appointment of PM. can sense tat he's been working hard to shake of the Lee family image that singaporeans have. from day one he has been groomed as the in coming PM, who else in the parliment has been given the due chance and opportunity to pursue the same course?

Definately isn't which is why I get more and more disillusioned everytime they persecute the opposition. LauLee himself said that opposition is important when he was younger and the British ruled Singapore (I read while researching history of Singapore and digging up his old speeches - not old enough to know that first hand).
Then the more I found out, and the more of his old speeches I read, the more disillusioned still I got with LKY and his party today.

Personally I think he will crash everything and from than on we all will start all over again and can have a better life In Singapore without the Lee around and all his "company"

on the whole, the decisions they made are good for the country, but one never fail to realsied that the impact of the government's actions/policies, more than often, hits the lower income group harder.
the main thng on CEO singapore would not be unlike the one on Bill Gates mind, how to make more money. singaporean, born here, grew up here, would be treated as workers. The earlier he crash all things here the earlier we can start. Why I say crash? It just to show all we Singaporean have nothing else. It all in the Lee account now.
What and why privatise of HDB, PWD and soon LTA you think the garment are doing??? So if the next time P^P lost and need to hand over garment, they dun have to hand over the entire account of this sector because it now privately own. -
