Hi, I'm from SG buses
Recently, our leaders have warned of strong compeition especially in the infastructure sector (I.e SIA, PSA). So far, they have already crossed over this and are looking forward. In fact, their worst time may have actually been over.
PSA - June may set the highest record, 1.8 million (From my estimation as they are handling at least 60,000 TEU a day compared to less than 50,000 TEU a day last mth and yr). This will happen to be the highest ever volume. Shipping lines are increasing volumes to Singapore, mth by mth. Now ships are delayed by 2 - 24 hrs even though more crane op and lorry drivers are employed with longer shift (12 hrs).
SIA - Compeition from budget airlines may make it harder to earn from regional short haul rts, its long haul direct rts are "exclusive" like going to New York or LA.
Are they ahead from compeitors now? Or was their warning a careful caution to Singaporeans?
