Hi ppl.. I kind of need some of your opinions for my criminal procedure report.. I'm doing the topic on sentencing. Here is the topic sentence
Should sentencing powers be given fully to the judge's discretion or purely based on the provisions in the legislature?

yeah.. singapore no jury.. las time use to have privy council though.. does the privy council have the same powers as the jury? All i know is that the privy coucil had the highest powers before it was abolished in the 90s... -
Do the Crime...do the time + caning + death Penalty + gang rape by prisoners + commit suicide in prison

He have to rely on both bah... they also may have to rely on the sentencing trend set by history. Every case is unique so deserve unique attention

When government goes into business, is that constituting an interest in contract as stipulated in various statutes for which government having an interest is not in a position to adjudicate.
Has CJ studied this in criminal procedure codes?
