it means "Stupid, idiot", this words from north part of China.
if you understand shanghai dialect, you might know the words "Shi2 San1 Dian3" (thirteen points), meaning same...

You know it is very hard to put a PinYin on a shanghai dialect. but I can make a try. In Pinyin, "Se Sei di"

actually, the literal translation of "Sha Bi" is "stupid c-u-n-t", but xbox is right in that when people use it on someone, they just meant to say "stupid idiot".
"Chinaman" was/may still is a derogatory term for "Chinese". Quite many singaporean think they are not chinese and even fantasize about being white since they speak singlish not chinese, but when they travel to the west, soon they will find out they are still called "chink" or "chinaman" by average joe faster than you can say "angmor".

That is so Shabi, they never heard what american said "Singapore english is horrible", I heard this for many times when i stay in USA.
Singaporen speak very Shabi english, singapore have no his own language, is it right?
As a chinese, I am very proud of my mother tongue, I can speak and write chinese perfectly and natively. Can sigaporen speak and write english in very native way????can you ??? -

Believe it or not, many of my american colleagues have poorer grammer and sentence contruct then me, considering that I only got a C6 in my general papers during my A levels year.
There was even once when my american colleague has to try several futile attempts to spell the word 'tentatively' before sheepishly asking me and my malaysian colleague to spell it out for him so that he can jot it down in our meeting minutes.
Singapore is a migrant society, the languages we use are all imported - same goes for US or Australia or NZ or canada etc.
talking about writing english in a native way, what do you mean by native? it can mean different things for a brit, a yank, an aussie and a new zealander. All of us singaporeans here are writing in a very native way - unique to singapore only - if you want me to write queen's english, what have I been doing right up to this moment? -

Btw, what is mother tongue? that is speak and write by it, think by it..
a sigapore kid told me, Chinese is my mothertongue, but I don't know how to write, I speak and write wonderfull english. Kao......funny!!hahah
