If my information is correct, the exco did not fail them.
The special thing in ALPA S is that they needs agreement from their union member before they can strike an agreement with SIA management. In this case, they made an agreement with SIA management after the union member approve it. However, it turns out later that SIA is still profitable. So, the union member got upset and decides to throw out the exco. Reasonable?
