What a joke that Li Seng Long has said that the economy is making a turn-around for the better when we are all still stuck in this deep shit? If the economy is making good, why then is the Bankruptcy rate going up? Why is there still so many jobless out there? In his perspective, its definitely getting better cos his salary has just jumped 'god-knows how many' folds... Its getting better cos the government is raking in more revenue from 5% GST, almost $10 per pack of cigarette...

Tony Tan is a DPM that is going to be around for only 9 months, so if I were you, I wont hope for much contribution from him as DPM. If LHL is going to be like GCT, it is likely to see Wong Kan Seng and Jayakumar as DPMs for the next 14 years. If this is the case, I think Singaporeans must be prepared for an autocratic political system that is going to be very hard on Singaporeans.

I think that's that our progression is not good at all. Mainly due to the attitudes of people and the government. Social progress is a big problem, which both the people and the government play a big part.
The point of Singapore's progression is still our cost of living. And the main thing to our cost of living is that our transportation fee are all too high. We could end up like Japan.
Only with ten years+, from 25 cents to now 63 cents ++? Is this logical? -
