I AM NOT A PAP SUPPORTER

I think all could argue until the cow comes home and still cannot solve the present problems faced by our economy - high costs and loss of economic competitiveness due to certain past policy constraints.
Many ideas were given to SSS (Staff Suggestion Scheme) but out of 100 only 2 were eventually implemented which were not minor nature that cannot really turn around our moribund economy.
Only monopolies and big companies are happy. The rest 9 out of 10 enterprises are not doing well.
Past suggestions already cover all areas of economic activities from out-of-the-box killer idea to unthought of solutions of all kinds. Some usually the minor ones were implemented as revealed by SSS.
Why not forget about all the justifications and presentation and straightaway turn all in-house talents to good use - of their practical knowledge and develop them to assets through doables. Put aside all the constraints from past conceptual policeis for a change. Without any more additional ideas or suggestions, existing ideas and suggestions well considered with open minds will see more mileage. What are the views of the rest?

as for myself, i will vote for opposition party no matter who fight in my area. coz i juts cant convince myself to vote for the PAP. anyway the opposition need to be given more chance to prove themselves then just a few years. when PAP first won the election, they can also asking ppl to give them a chance to prove themselves.
if there need a change in our political scene , it need to start somehwere, i dont want to be a lagger.
as for chee, he talk crap, but he dare to stand out and fight PAP. there are saying that he actually a spy from p.p to create havoc in the oppoistion party. well, we really see it now.

Although I have respect for the guts of Dr Chee - as much as it was foolish of him for doing what he has done - I also feel sorry that his exuberence and inexperience has gotten him into trouble and caused time to be wasted due to his immaturity.
Similarly, I have respects also for the other Opposition Members - namely Low Thia Kiang, J. B. Jeyaratnam, Chiam See Tong, Tang Liang Hong and Stephen Chia. -

this has nothing to do with lion-heart or not, this is politics, i would have done the same to chee if it were me,
the same thing happened to me when i was playing soccer

With soccer enthusiast sporting this kind of gutter level spirit and having this kind of mentality, is it any wonder that our Political Leaders - who are self-declared soccer enthusiasts too - reflect such meanness in the Standard of Politics being played in Singapore.
Is there any sportsmanship left in the soccer field, or even in Politics ?
Is 'meanness' now a characteristic icon of Singapore too ? -
