Do we need Temasek Holding in local market?

i really hope Temasek stay away from local market.
Many friend and i feel that Temasek is too powerful to challenge.
tons of small businese had been eaten by them.
NTUC , SPC ,car repair, etc.. they just want everybody to work under them!!
they are holding firm, pls go outside singapore to vie from other.
dont mind they just keep harbour,bank,airport and telecom but if they dont let singaporean to own more self-businese..who want to be more creative? -
like. NTUC..wtf they are selling computer? make their own NTUC bread..etc.
sell bun and diansum also in Boon Lay NTUC?? hahahah -
Good and bad. Right now, I would rather they set up new company to help the unemployment situation. With so many peope unemployed, maybe we should try to work on a few more long term projects.
Maybe SDI defense, hee hee

Its like wal-mart. Toys-r-Rus closed down because of them. End of the day some business will get hurt. But at the same time consumers benefit from cheaper goods and services.

If private sector has as much monies as Temasek, the economy will boom many times.
All that it takes is to identify opportunities to create more jobs and more wealth but not to compete for the same piece of pie.
Dos = jobs + wealth of all Singaporeans.
Don't = Do not take away incentive to work or invest due to Temasek going into local market to suck up the limited business opportunities from the SMEs.
SMEs are dying now and don't buy up bigger firms to make them expand to kill the smaller ones in one stroke.
