  I can remember that vividly. I was in a taxi going home from SGH. My wife was recuperating from an operation in the ward. After visiting her, I took a cab home.
  Chinese radion was on with the news, I was very tired and even when I heard the news, I was going: whassup??? don't get it, maybe wrong news.
  
  The impact came the next morning in the newspaper.

  I was shopping with my wife in Temple Street in Hong Kong...and watched live as the second plane crashed into the twin tower...

  Was at home interneting ....then someone (godknows where he is from) on irc channel say plane just flew into World trade towers - I thought it was a joke but he said it wasn't... I switch on cnn on cable ....reporter was speculating about whether it was an accident or not. ...second plane was seen passing behind the reporter and then a bOom ...the reporter was continously rambling OH MY GOD OH MY GOD ...
  
  Sad lah ...some many people died because of all these fanatical terrorists.

  I was at school having classes. Just like every normal day. Then suddenly one of my classmates got a SMS from her frens outside abt that news...at first we all tot it is sum junk SMS but it turned out to be true...

  Jus had my tution. Turned on TV to watch some international tennis match some local tennis player was taking part in on channel 5. Then I saw the headsups and turned to CNA/BBC/CNN to watch till about 3 plus in the morning.
  
  Really a messy situation over there that day. News stations getting news with no truths like a car bomb exploding at Capitol building.

  watching gilmore girls on tv and news thread flashes by.. i blinked my eyes a few times then switched to channel news asia.. i think it was a tueday nite if i were not wrong.

  I was writing an essay, until my friend called me.I turned on BBC World Service and there it was.I felt a deep sense that the world suddenly turned very dangerous.

  I was studying part-time and was in the lecture room... when the planes struck.
  
  I was on my way home on a bus and was watching Mobile TV. No sound. Saw a tall building burning..... and find it not very interesting... then saw the 2nd plane struck the next building!
  
  Was very stunned.... didn' t know what is happening. went home switched on the computer and then read the news... was really stunned.
  
  A month later reported for my annual ICT. Unit was very alert. During the ICT I had never seen such motivated NSFs and NSmen.

  yea it was a tuesday night alright..
  
  was at band practice.. and when the news hit.. we were all talking about how much the us currency would fall and that its time for us to be buying our new instruments.
  
  but little did we expect the seriousness of the whole thing until.. supper time when we were at a kopitiam in ulu pandan watching the news from the kopitiam's television set. ugh.

  I was working,then when i return home,my mum told me U.S kenna bombed n died many ppl.Not trying to be sarcastic,but i was abit excited becoz of the boring day at work n suddenly got this kind of "Big News",if u get what i mean......but i do feel sorry when i realise there was so many ppl died in the incident.

  Was watching live on BBC,CNN & CNA. Watched the second plane crash live onto WTC.

  On another note, I was in Tekong when the first bombs fell on Baghdad, and the instructors were telling us that the alert status was high.On that weekend , the permstaff were held back for extra guard duties.Surprisingly, the guys were quite motivated during training and were quite actively discussing the issues.

  in camp light off,turn on FM93.3 and going to sleep when they reported that plane crash on twin towers and many ppl die
  see....when in camp...dunno outside world....
