I think you have to understand Ti Lik better. He is a cautious man, due to his profession. And he doesn't have much leisure time. I have been forums for more than a decade and understand how to go about it. But I think he is pretty new to forum.
On personal note, he is a great guy to share ideals with.

I agree. Things can go out of hand quickly in a forum. But I still believe its a great platform for discussing ideas where anyone can take part and contribute. Sylvia is very busy with her work and party ground work. She also helps Mr. Low in his parliamentary speeches and things like that. Beside that, she is walking the ground almost every week. Thus, I doubt she has time left for herself, least engaging forumites here.
BTW, do you know that they are going to amend the labour law, allowing employers to make employees work overtime but not paying them?

Dear Paperchicken,
We do not have a full force PR dept just yet. We face resource constraints, especially volunteers who could do such work.
However, there is an IT committee and I am in it.

Naturally as Chairman and SG of WP, Sylvia Lim and Low Thia Kiang will have less time than other members due to party work. If its the opposite, then the 2 'boh cho gang'.
Meng Seng, Ti Lik and others are but members or helpers. That gives more time to them to play other roles, such as forums where politically knowledgable Singaporeans gather.

As I am now in Hong Kong, there is no way I could get a copy of Sunday Times. Nevermind, maybe somebody here could keep the copy and when I return sometime this month, pass it to me?
I just want to make sure my point is made clearly in the report.

However, that's not what my original message means. It is not only about those living next to MRT tracks but also those living next to a highway, expressway like TPE, PIE, KJE, BKE and such!
MRT tracks will necessarily laid into HDB heartland. Town planning is now moving towards places near these highways. Tampines, Pungol and Sengkang, Chua Chu Kang are prime examples. As land is getting scarce, this is inevitable. Something must be done with such noise pollution, as our population size gets bigger (they are now talking about 7 to 8 million as a long term target?), we will inevitably have more vehicles on the road, more MRT trains on service...etc etc. These noise pollution will have to be dealt with, apart from other pollutions.
