Who are the politicians (in the past/present) you like and why
Just curious .
Mine is
Who?
Chief Minister David Marshall
Why?
He formed the foundations of Independence for Singapore although London rejected his proposal for the self determination of Singapore in Madeira Talks (bloody imperialistic britain).
And also I heard alot about him from a relation of mine who used to work for him. -
One oft not-publicized achievement about him is that he formed Workers' Party. Opposition parties may not be great, but WP lasted very long and is always a contender for few seats. Maybe his spirit helped.
