What is missing in our water?

Many people knows that water from the well could taste very different, sometimes, even "sweet".
There are research done in the world on how water affects the health of human being. In certain places where water quality is good, people live longer.
There is one group of thought that says contaminations to our water supply is the major cause of an alarming rise in cancer rate. Thus, they argue, that we should only drink distilled water. However some argue that distill water lacks minerals, thus, not healthy at all.
There is currently a world wide research on "healthy water"; It is bascially due to the fact that the human body is make up of 70% water, that makes it critical for human health. The latest findings sum up one critical point, it is not distilled water that we need, but "magnetized" water that we need for our health.
Through various research (including Chinese university, Chin Hua University), it is found that what makes the well water "sweet" is the natural magnetism of the Earth's magnetic forces. Artificial water treatment has made water become "hard", loosing the natural magnetism. It is a matter of "hard" or "soft" water that affects human health. Most of the time, chlorinated or flourided water treatment had made the water "hard". The molecular structure of the treated water become much denser, heavier. These research argues that if these water are being "magnetized", it could make it "soft", loosen up the molecular structure. It makes the water taste a bit "sweet" like well water. This "magnetized" water are said to help the digestive system to stay healthy. Depending on how the water is being magnetized, it could provide different functions. (IT could be North Pole, South Pole or Double Pole magnetized).
Whatever it is, Singapore's New Water is not going to be a good source. Neither is distilled water, which is basically "hard" water. Boiling distilled water may make it harder.
Thus, as it says, if you could get your water source "magnetized", you could get better quality water. The so call "energy" water you see in the market are basically "magnetized" water. It could be proven a cheap and easier way to keep a healthy body afterall.

err, i heard of soft water hard water in some science textbooks or articles..but magnetised water good for health? How so? Can explain in details?

btw, which business is not a scam? One way or another, they overclaim their products benefits to customers, overstate finances to potential investors, and even refuse to give payrise to employees when they deserve it.....

hard water contains mainly dissolved salts of calcium and magnesium... they cause a scummy mess when you try to use soap on it....
and if you boil it, there will be deposits in the kettle...

we are already luckier sg water is cleaner, if not totally clean..
when i was raised in malaysia, i have to deal with well water, dirty yellowy tap water or even frequent cut-off..
now let me search back in memory whether i did touch river water or not.... -

well the research of benefits in magnetised stuff like mattress and water isnt conclusive yet..but GMS is right to state that the Japanese are spearheading this research
in fact one Singapore Poly lecturer has been on the news when he was doing research on magnetism and its effect on human body too, think he found some relations, but again, not conclusive, he himself said it would take some time to find hard evidence... -
Our water lacks gold deposits, that way, we can tie filters to the taps and collect whatever valuable materials that doesn't go thru.

But well water bath more refreshing than tap water mah... except got some insects lah.
A few years back I still got experience water kenna cut off but this year and last year when I visit there don't have liao. Last time lagi best is chinese new year morning wake up always find electricity cut off. -

I dun know about the story on magnetized water...its not a proven science.
What I know proven is that we human being need natural water....water that contain no chlorine, florine or any other funny chemicals....water that contain bactaria or cyst, water that contain all kinds of heavy metals like lead, asbestos etc.
The best natural water we get are those flowing from the streams at the top of the mountain. cool & refreshing and free of all contaminants....at least, forumers here won't scale the mountain to just to pee there.
I also won't subscribe to ideas of Diamond water...all hype only.
Drinking from tap water is a bad idea too ! Have you seen burst water pipes on the road ? This contaminated water flows to your tape. Have u seen dead rats, inserts and all kinds of funny things in the HDB water tank ? I have seen photos of those from a ex-inspector that checks our water tank and have to fish out all kinds of things.
So if u drink direct from tap. good luck..
having said so much, SG water is still better than many parts of the word....I never travel out of singapore without my portable water purification unit. wait till u come to India...water is horrible....even bottled water is at least 50 times more contaminants than the European standard...but the govt there argue the bottle water have met their standards (India standards) and they dun follow European standards.....so sad for the indians there. -
