TODAY:
Elections are around the corner. The propaganda machine is patching up all the unhappiness the citizens are facing. They are adopting the stop-gap measures to give a reply to every conceivable unhappiness. They give solutions to people who canÂ’t pay their PUB bills by having cashcard. Why are the utilities charges so high? Everyone knows how much money we are paying to buy water from Malaysia. Dr Mahathir has been trumpeting this ALL the time. One-third of the population utilities bill would be sufficient to pay for an entire monthÂ’s purchase of water from MÂ’sia. Why donÂ’t the people of Singapore ASKS QUESTIONS? Do we asks:
1) Why has Lee Yock Suan not been given a Ministerial post in LHLÂ’s cabinet? Was he corrupted?
2) Why has nobody questioned LHL about his cancer? Is he cured? Is he fit to be the PM? Cancer patients go into remission, they are never cured.
3) Despite all the tributes given to him, GCT never give an impression that he truly achieved much when he occupied the PMship for 14 years. Look at him closely. He looked like a person with a guilty conscience and with grievances.
4) Why are they coming up with the Credit Counseling for debtors now, when more than 20,000 people has already been bankrupted?
5) Why are we, the citizens of Singapore giving taxes to pay for the so-called “talented” Ministers when all they do is take a re-active stance to problems? They cannot foresee these problems. All they do is find excuses and provide stop gap solutions when problem arises. Name one? There are loads of them but Cedric Foo’s handling of the white horse issue is a CLASSIC. He would have been forced to resign if he was born elsewhere.
6) Why do we need so many MPÂ’s and Ministers for such a small country?
7) Why do Town Councils have so many councilors (do you see their posters looking at you at notice boards at the void decks) and yet complain they are running short of money?

Why pump so much money into Optus and Global Crossing? Are these hidden agendas? Why not use the money for the poor in Singapore? Why give miserable ERS shares of only a few hundred dollars? How LONG can a few hundred dollars last in todayÂ’s Singapore?
There can be many many more to ask.
Before I carry on, there are some smart alecks (government agents to some) in this forum who will say “give a solution, don’t complain” and “migrate then, why stay in Singapore”. Let me make it clear that I am NOT paid to give a solution. Those sitting in parliament house are and they SHOULD find a solution and by the way, I am not complaining. I am merely providing some checks and balances to my fellow citizens and my living environment. As for those who propose migration, these people don’t care for Singapore at all. They propose the easy way out when confrontational issues arises. Where are they, if and when bombs start falling in Singapore? Migrate? It is exactly my love for this country that I am asking all these questions. It is exactly my love for this country that I WILL stay and defend Singapore if one day there is a need to. So don’t even suggest migration, if you truly love your country.
TOMORROW:
The future. I don’t see many changes as Singapore is one of the best countries in the world that practices human mind re-engineering. Every aspect of our media is a part of a HUGE propaganda machine. A lot of the citizens have been brain-washed to follow un-truths. They THINK they are living in Utopia. The last recession “awakened” some segment of the population. It would be interesting to see this impact on society later on.
People like the late Ong Teng Cheong and ex-Speaker of Parliament Tan Soo Khoon were very critical of policies when they left their posts. Reason: they probably see things from another angle during their service and they become “the common people” in their views. The current Ministers and MP’s won’t dare to attempt this as they are trapped. Who wouldn’t if you are paid a handsome salary every month, has status and lives in a clean and safe country like Singapore with great infrastructures. It is this genius conception that has trapped a lot of Singaporeans. Ask around, they have no other choice. They will cower in fear if things go wrong. They have no love for the country, migration is always their priority. They treat this country as a transitional one before they make it big and stay in a western country. I see and sense A LOT of frustration in the people of Singapore. From barbers to taxi drivers to kopi tiam helpers to lawyers to doctors. They do not dare to voice out, they keep it within them and if a friend listens, everything will be blurted out. All these are not well for the future of Singapore.
I foresee that once our M & MÂ’s passes away, there will be a strong wind of change within the ruling party. LHL is weak as compared to his dad. The current opposition is badly discredited by the HUGE propaganda machine and they will always be weak. There will be some present and past MP and Ministers who will form a new opposition front. The whole political landscape will change in Singapore. It will become a two party system. The people can then really have a real opposition party who possess the same credentials and integrity as those from the ruling party. Hard to believe? Then sit back and enjoy the coming future.
There will be no replies to any queries.
