Hmm...JieQi, if u happen to read this..I called in at 1.44 am but u were not able to pick up. Haiz, I had been trying since 11 plus..and u said u wana have a talk with me..sigh...I called in but perhaps it was never meant to be..
I think I will email JieQi if I can still find his email addres...if not, flyaway747, would u mind pls give me his email address/help me pass the msg to him if u email him or whatever? I gave him my email addresses and hp number before..he's always welcomed to drop me a msg or give me a ring.

Much like the half full or half empty glass story, u can really choose how u want to look at things. I know its easier said than done but i hope u can start looking at the half full scenarios. maybe u will then feel better.

Think he exaggerated a bit ba..I also cant rem wat i wrote..but was actually telling him how my father died and some grievances that we suffered..
I know abt the half full half empty theory. I always look at it as half full.
Do you quote these examples to ur students too? I think you can be a gd teacher.
Today is father's day. I juz feel yi han that my dad is no longer around..what we can do is buy is fav food when he was alive..but he never live to enjoy them. Haiz. -

It'll pass. Think of it this way. Your dad must have been a great person for you to miss him. And so is my grandmother.

Yes, festives will seem more quiet now..esp chinese new yr, the reunion dinner etc..
sometimes when i cook, i will also think of him..coz he used to sing praises for my cooking.
i think students nowadays are getting smarter and smarter..and more exposures to things that me when i was at their age. I remember my teachers used to share with us their life experiences etc..but I also find students nowadays very studious..maybe coz I see a lot in my sch..those L1R4 9 pointers etc..but maybe their thinking is still not that matured. -

guess i wont be online a few days or weeks....my uncle passes away todae due 2 cancer this morning....
he was my 4th uncle...was my closest uncle,when i got problem....he will always gave me yi jian....but now....he had left......was crying tilll eye red... really guess i wont be coming in for the time being....

Be strong.
Suffering from cancer is a very painful thing. My uncle also passed away 3 years ago bcos of lung cancer. Heard from my cousins that he was in great pain but he put up a strong front. It's also a relief for him..
I know how it feels to lose ur loved ones..my dad passed away this Jan also. But the live also have to live on..coz it's parts and parcel of life.
I had a bad dream last night. In fact, I keep having bad dreams every night. I dreamt that my cousin passed away due to cancer. This morning I woke up, I was shocked. Prayed to my ancestors, hopefully nothing bad will happen. My little niece is still so small..in kindergarten only. Haiz. -

It's me again! juz got home, on the radio after the shower and heard JieQi reading out Liping's dedication. Was Liping on air? I think I missed it. I missed almost 1.5 hours of his programme.
I was at Bishan for a concert. Went to support Penny Dai. One word to describe her live performance. WOW!!!!
