Do u guys think these "creatures" appear long ago?

  Creatures like succubus, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, count dracula or some other related creatures like what i mention. i started to wonder do these type of creatures really appear long ago? because i saw some figure with a long hair and wings or something like that in my dreams and it started to bug me =/. And i really curious do such creatures make an appearance long ago?
