Hey, its true you can become a U.S citizern if you join the military service. 3years & you'll automatically get the card.

The soldier in your attached story had been in America since he was 14 years old, I think its appropriate that he gets his citizernship since that would entitle him to the benefits he deserves for serving in Iraq.

For those who are interested in joinning the U.S military, you're most welcome but be ready that you may not get to be i Spec Ops or some other units of your preferrence. Reason could range from security clearance to no openning for that position.

As for those who are willing to join the military for the purpose of getting the card, don't be offended that you'll be classed as a Permanent Residential Alien. On the bright side, if your kids are born in the U.S then they'll be class as U.S citizern.
