I just wanted to add on for SpecOps87's info, to understand why the President reacted the way he did, you've got to experience it for yourself. I've got no ideal what went on Bush's head but I assume that 1 of it might've been trying to appear calm for the public especially since he was in a room full of kids.Originally posted by Johnston:Put it this way.
You are sitting there surfing net/watching TV.
You get the news.
You see the picture.
What is your reaction?
FYI, a whole lot of US Army personnel gabra all over the shop when they heard the news. In effect a large amount of americans were stunted for that day.
What did you expect him to do, really? Jump up and say "Ok we're gonna run for NEACP!"
Yes it will be worse.
SEVEN YEARS DB.
You get that drilled into you.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO !Originally posted by John Ching:Sen. John Kerry has conceded the Presidential race to Bush at 0000hrs local time as reported by CNN.

marshals are deployed at the airplane's country. meaning if a singapore plane goes to US, marshals are singaporean. then when fly bk from US to SG, still is sg marshal cos its a SG plane. the same marshal jagar the plane to and fro. the marshals answer back to his country.....although he may have to assist in investigation when touch down but if found negligence or improper judgement, the country deploying the fella will punish.Originally posted by SpecOps87:Ok,lets head back to the topic yeah?So any comments on which is a more viable solution to this problem?Placing AMUs on-board commercial flights?Or should the pilots/flight crew be fire-arm trained and have a couple of guns stored away in the aircraft and easily accessible to the pilots or crew when the need arises.
Besides, can anyone shed alittle light on this scenario. For example 2 Air Marshals leave on a fligh headed for say the US from SG.Mid-flight,some smart-ass decides to hijack the plane and die a matyr. The 2 Air Marshals do exactly they have been trained, alert the pilot and let the pilot alert air-traffic control warns the smart-ass,negotiates,and finally the smart-ass does something stupid and endangers the lives of the passengers. The air Marshals shoot the guy down.
So what is likely to happen next:
(a)The plane heads to the nearest country, and let the relevant authorities take-over?
(b)The plane turns and headsback to S'pore?
(c)The plane continues towards the destination, upon arrival, alert the revelant authorities and let them handle it?
And also what is going to happen to the 2 Air Marshals? They have shot and killed someone on an international flight,so do they report to the authorities in the US or report back to the authorities in SG?
Lastly, since we have Interpol,do you think its a feasible ideal to have a international organization which sole purpose is to deal with Air Marshal duties and have branches all over the world, serving all flights?

I just want to add on further that AMUs from whatever country are given a limited entitlement to the diplomatic immunity protocol when they have to take action over international air space. Unlike diplomats, AMUs immunity ends at the exit of the aircraft unless, of course, they are Israelis' AMU.Originally posted by chunyong:marshals are deployed at the airplane's country. meaning if a singapore plane goes to US, marshals are singaporean. then when fly bk from US to SG, still is sg marshal cos its a SG plane. the same marshal jagar the plane to and fro. the marshals answer back to his country.....although he may have to assist in investigation when touch down but if found negligence or improper judgement, the country deploying the fella will punish.
i May not be totally correct but i think dats abt it.

Sure I can elaborate, its no secret that Israel isn't a popular country with all the fanatics, so their Israeli airlines are always a possible target of terrorism.Originally posted by SpecOps87:Hey John Ching, you mentioned that Israeli AMUs have diplomatic immunity all the way.WHy is this so?can elaborate?
hmmm, i heard of red digits in US...now u say they have enuth for another war...no matter wat, i don't like warmongers like Bush. i am keeping stock on US$ cos i shop often in ebay and they operate in US funds...dats y...and...dats also another reason why i want us$ to drop so i can get the stuff cheaper....Originally posted by John Ching:Ah! Yes, its true U.S dollar is currently weak at the momment, but that does not mean that U.S is poor.
You've got to check out the U.S Fedaral Reserve to know that the U.S can still take on another war if it must. Remember, the U.S has been planning for 3 theaters of war before 9/11.
And again you're right, U.S has not pay its share of the U.N spendings not because U.S can't afford, but the U.S does not agreed to bear the majority spending account of the U.N.
Have you ever wonder why most U.N military intervention missions are carries out by the U.S military? Thats because U.N can't afford to pay & the rest of the member nations just expects U.S to do the job. This was why Bush had said that the U.S is not the world's policeman & that members of the U.N should play their part rather then just voice their oinion.![]()
And who do have to thank for the drop in the U.S currency?Originally posted by chunyong:also another reason why i want us$ to drop so i can get the stuff cheaper....![]()

Spell it with me, B.U.S.H!!
Seriously speaking, if Kerry had won't the U.S elections, I strongly believed that the ASIAN countries are in trouble. Due to his Vietnam experience, he doesn't have a positive views about Asians.
