I don't think that they managed to get a ACU one pattern fits all solution in the end, afterall, as the photos (this thread, page 1) show, prints used are obviously just digitized versions of desert camou rather than a grey tone uniform.
The photos showing the USAF general in digitized grey scheme uniform cannot be taken into consideration. The USAF regards that uniform as a utility uniform not combat gear. The reason is that the majority of USAF personnel wearing such uniforms don't need to be fitted in combat gear (Most ppl who wear utility uniforms work in service side).
