That the Bionix APC / IFV version ! Of course you don't see it in local exhibition. It is paint in desert brown for middle east defense exhibition !
That version is more closer to the version which we submit for the US defense contract competion which we lost (the US went for wheel version ) . It is basically a more strip down verison, as the weight needed to be reduce by 2 to 3 tons to meet requirement.
by the way there are other bionix like the AVLB version below.

This in fact show that the Bionix is already the top IFV available in the market. As it incorporate one of the stronger amour for IFV, also more easy to drive and better mobility. A lot of country will be interested in it. -

Hmmmz...actually I think that the Bionix is a fine weapons platform and would serve wonderfully in the IFV role.Perhaps alittle enhancement to its armour would be to add reactive-armour and perhaps alittle more weapons.Same as most other infantry vehicles,i think the main reason for the US M1A2s,Bradleys and other armoured vehicles in Iraq which are being destroyed are due to their lack of manuverability and that they can easily get stuck in the streets which is the battleground of modern day conflict.
IFVs and Tanks in my opinion should be used to lay seige on the area,then send troops in with heli-support.That would provide a better solution as the enemy will run into the blocking force,and if they stay put can be taken out by the search force. -
Equip the Bionix with tandem SPIKE launchers and ERA applique modular armour, for versatility in configuration for different kinds of operations.We could add a M134 gatling gun to the remote weapon station instead of that measly GPMG for a urban warfighting role.IS this too outlandish?Or could it be done?

The 40AGL/M242 Bushmaster concept version is alright for operations against insurgents in open terrain such as warehouses and flatted factories, because of the ABMs which can be deployed effectively to create confusion and destruction top down to flush out the enemy.But, if we need to take out highly mobile insurgents in trucks , I would propose a combination of a remotely operated tandem SPIKE unit and a 0.5 cal cannon, with added armour against RPG attacks.

The Bionix already has modular add-on passive armour, as with most modern IFVs these days.
Adding ERA blocks on IFVs? a big mistake - a hit would trigger an outward explosion towards any surrounding infantry men.
Most western armoured vehicles are turning towards passive add-on composite armour instead. -
The Bionix actually take the best of existing IFV and refine it. It make use of the lastest technology to make it one of the best. In fact in amour side, you be surprise, according to some analyst, this is one of the best armour IFV in the world, not just wielding steel but also bolt on classified (laminated type) of armour. The US tanks and IVF are been destory due to their concept of their relent to send in infranty. You see the whole bundle of soilder all sitting down waiting for tanks ,IFV, helio and planes to take out any enemy unit.
In urban fighting, the troops must dismount and move forward to protect the IVF, the IVF will in term provide support fire. This is the partnership that will ensure both protect each other. In Iraq, you have the troops more interested in taking cover, which leave the open for enemy to move near enough IFV to take it out with RPGs.
The 25mm gun is a good option, just right firepower to penetrate most things also combine with 40 GL /0.5 - with the new airburst 40 GL. Think those 2 combination of IFV is very good for a wide range of situation including urban fighting. Of course 1 or 2 spike missile will help to blow down a buidling faster.
Someone mention taking out trucks, the 25mm will be the most beauty and effective weapon to take out any trucks or other IFVs compare to missiles. the 25mm rounds have enough penetration to do a lot of damage to most IFV so it will just basically tear up the truck. -

On our foreign policy, we cant be neutral and act dumb forever and it is always in our interest to take the side which goes in line with our pursues. So are we puppets? Yes to a certain extent we are puppets of someone, but for our own interest do we have a choice?
Thinking about it, even the mighty US also cant escape the puppet game...hosted by you know who.
