What if they have the money!Originally posted by laurence82:They dont have the money. I have trained with Indonesian soldiers during my OETI days, and they told me stories of how their units cannot afford to luxuriously replace vehicles parts like we did, according to the demands of our MAC.
Each copper washer or bolt has to be dug out or modified from somewhere.
But their field training is tougher, if not tactically better. And they really take care of each piece of uniform or equipment they have.Something we should learn from them.

If the bill is successfully. National Service is successfully implemented in Indonesia. Since you said Indonesian soldier have tougher field training than Singaporean soldier. Does that mean that a Indonesian reserve/conscript soldier is much much better train than a Singaporean reserve/conscript soldier. Indonesia National Service will be much tougher and of higher standard than Singapore National Service.
one thing they will and already have and we dont... combat experience.Originally posted by laurence82:I already said they had tougher training, whether or not they have better training is a different thing.
In what way I imply they will definitely be better than us in combat? But then again, we wont want to reach that stage to find out isnt it?
