The AAAV suppose to start LRIP this year and per unit cost is abt USD6.63mils and FRP on plan is 2006.
So it will not be available to us in at least 2~3 years time.
Anyway it is very expensive almost the cost of 2~3 Bionix.
Since we have number of M113s, the Arisgator is good option and I believe it will be the most cost effective.
And kit is removable & easily revert it back to old M113, since it just a upgrade kit, in fact, I think DSTA should get one kit for a thorough evaluation.
Maybe they already did.
