We might see a shift in the focus of leadership training from something that is utilised during active NSF liabilty to something that is emphasised and put into place during your annual ICTs.Nothing is given away for free, and perhaps they would maximise your annual call-ups to balance out the lack of leadership practice for the junior commanders i.e 3SG/2SGs and 2LT/LTAs during their active term.So get ready for probably more intensive ICTs, which might contain many refresher courses for the time-lag soldiers(those nearing the end of their 13 yr cycle) when the 3G army comes online.Still, one thing makes me quite surprised, the downsizing of NSF military engineering specialists, to make way for greater commercial involvement in the logistical sectors of the Army.Is this a stop-gap measure to smooth over any teething problems we might have when migrating over to a NCW capable army, to have a subsequent increase or reverting to pre-migration estab levels?We might never know for sure..
