Few people today know about operation Hundkopf which took place at the Baden-Baden concentration camp.
As World War II began to turn sour for the Germans on the Eastern front in the winter of 1942-43, a small group of SS Physicians instituted Hundkopf in an effort to reinforce dwindling manpower on the home front. The premise, specifically, was to create a race of Ãœberwachen, or "Super Guards" for factories, POW camps, bases, etc., thereby freeing up untold tens of thousands of good soldiers for the front.
The SS doctors' initial attempts to graft the heads of german shepards onto the bodies of Jewish prisoners met with dismal failure. Much to the doctors' dismay, the first Ãœberwachen milled about aimlessly, barking at the wind, humping the doctors' legs, and running about on all fours like a canine instead of upright like a dog-headed human.
Despite some later success, Reichsführer SS Himmler put an end to this sickening project himself, decrying it as a "waste of precious time, resources, and some bloody good guard dogs."
Rumour has it that near the war's end, American troops discovered two living Ãœberwachen, a male and female, at the medical facility in Baden-Baden. They were reportedly shipped hastily to an Army facility in Virginia. The fate of these two specimens remains unknown to this day. -

Nah.... I think this is just one of the many myths and legends of WWII.
Even now we don't have the technology for head transplants, much less in WWII.
Sure, I remember reading an article a few years ago about a doctor who was doing some pioneering research into head transplant surgery.... but even then, the patient would still end up as a quadriplegic. That's even assuming that the patient can stay alive in the first place.
Think about it.... the brain dies within 10 minutes of oxygen deprivation. How on earth do you cut off a head, graft it to another body and restart the blood flow - all within 10 minutes? Impossible! -

Ya,I think it is one of those legends of WW2,but it is not implausible if those ingenious Nazis had CONSIDERED and even EXPERIMENTED with the idea.

What the Nazis really did during WWII
theyd put a man in freezing cold water for like 3 hours, then take him out just before he froze to death; and get 2 naked random prisoner women, and force them to keep rubbing up against him to see if they could get his body temperature up to normal
most of the time it didint work and all the men froze to death
they did this for months and months, and kept altering it like putting the 2 women in the water etc
after like 8 months they concluded that using a blanket to warm up someone is more effective then using someone elses body.
and yeah the altitude thing; theyd send groups of people into chambers, and gradually increase the pressure inside the chamber
the people inside would start going insane, literally tearing their hair out and clawing at their face to try and ease the pain that the pressure would be putting on their entire body, eyes would pop out of their sockets and stuff
