In the book 'The Holocaust' by renowned historian Martin Gilbert are quite a few pages devoted to medical experiments particularly by Josef Mengele. In 1943 he was 32 and was consumed by his desire to advance his career by publishing journals from his experiments on living jews.
He probably killed several thousand by injecting them with such things as petrol, chloroform or air. He had a particular fascination for eye colour and tried changing the colour by injecting them with dye. Another of his fascinations were twins and in one experiment he sewed a pair together and connected their veins, because the wounds became infected and they were screaming in agony their parents managed to get hold of enough morphine to kill them.
He also used dwarves to pull their teeth out (while still alive) to compare them to normal sized people, I'd imagine they didn't get any 'freeze'.
Not really an experiment but ISTR a jew being asked to move heavy blocks of ice, fistly wearing gloves but he was then ordered to take them off. After several hours his hands were black with frostbite and they were amputated. A fruitless exercise as he was then shot. -

If Nazis were successful in buidling all those war machines, then Germany would be Super Power , not USA.

I do not know whether head transplant was possible during WWII, but i do believe that military technology is way ahead of the technology we know. There is a lag time for the military to deem a certain invention as obselete before releasing to the public. Certain stuff that they can do but feel that it will benefit the enemy more then they will not release the know-how. Thus they might have known how to do a head transplant then but doesnt want to teach to the world for fear of misuse. As human cloning has shown, once the information is out, there is no stopping on who can use it no matter how hard u try to stop it.

Much of the data from the WW2 experiments eventually ended up being put into practice by the US in the decades after - a good part of what we do know about hypothermia treatment comes from that data.
If the Nazis had successfully managed to transplant heads, it's highly improbable that such techniques would not have already found their way into microsurgery over the last 60 years. -

One of the teaching blocks, T11, in Singapore Poly has been standing on the ground since pre war times.. it has been rumored to be one of the places where the japanese soldiers conducted experiments, most probably, on humans.
every level in the building has been partitioned into small rooms to become club houses for each CCA.. the powerbox can be seen on the ceiling at one corner of the room. when i first enter the building i felt abit cold and it was later i found out this building existed for a long, long time.
Having learnt that Nazis did such grotesque experiments on the jews and its prisoners, i wonder if these jap soldiers had done the same or even worse things on the victims? if the rumor is true, wat did the jap actually do at the building T11?
we have seen The Pianist, Schindler's List, read books of german atrocities, diary of Anne Frank... but where are the films about Japanese occupation? I have personally been to one of the concentration camps. Auswitz in poland, which is the biggest concentration camp created by the germans. All these stories about man with a dog heads are made up. The germans did try experiments on the jews, most of the activities invovle using chemicals to test the effectiveness on the battlefield. Such stories of uber soldats are pure rubbish. I have personallly bought a book from there which has the full illustrations of what occured, and it wasn't stated whether freaks were created

Nazi technology was better than you dismissed it to be - the Me262 outflew everything the US could produce until 1950. The only thing that worked against their favour was a lack of production facilities.
