Reorganising 1st PDF.

Does this mean that there is no more 1st PDF? All bde under 1st PDF distributed into the 3 CADs? If yes, I think we'll have bloated CADs.

Our Army moved another step forward in its transformation journey on 6 December with the reorganisation of HQ 1st People Defence Force (1 PDF).
Chief of Army (COA), MG Desmond Kuek, witnessed the symbolic handover of the sub-units of 1 PDF to TRADOC and the Combined Arms Divisions. Command and Appointment Plaques were presented to Commander 1 PDF, COL Lee Ee Beck, and the Regimental Sergeant Major, SWO Yeo Boon How, during the parade.
With this symbolic handover, the Command HQ of 1 PDF will also be closed to create greater capacity for Our ArmyÂ’s transformation. Such a change would allow 1 PDF units to strengthen the rear area security of the Combined Arms Divisions and also help TRADOC develop civil-military doctrine as part of the current operational reality.
COA said, “In the new security paradigm that we face today, there is a need for the Army to transform itself to deal with an expanded spectrum of operations from peace to war. 1 PDF is a part of this change effort. This integration into the Divisions will infuse them with the capability and expertise to deal with a wider range of operational scenarios and to transit seamlessly from one phase of operations to another.” -

6SIR is a residing unit in maju camp, just like other units i.e: 23/24/28/30/31 SIB,etc....

Except that CCO is CCO lar, not linked directly with the resident units @ times

CCO is the estate management office of the camp.

No wonder Singapore Land Authority stuck with ~150 pieces of built up land it doesn't know what to do with.
SAF has been trying to prop up property prices as well? -
Maju Camp is still there.But I believe that some IPPT for NSmen are being held in Khatib Camp nowadays.
