When the SAF personnel come back from Aceh - possible for public to receive them at the pier? Anyone know?

IMO Will likely berth at Changi Naval Base, where I noted 2 of the LSTs (RSS Persistence & RSS Endeaver) set sail from towards Aceh. RSS Endurance actually began its journey from Tuah Naval Base, so there's a chance it may return there instead.
There'll be some emotions - & plenty of pride - but I'm generally expecting a dignified homecoming. Nothing over the top like the American-style street parade with confetti aplenty. -

He'll likely inform family about details, now that it's made public that most of them will return within the week.
BTW I understand Changi Naval Base is also gonna host the UN flotilla of humanitarian ships that's sailing in, so the LSTs may or may not dock there. -

Worth spending some money to organise some media event. Software building.

Cuz HATF mission not formally over yet, lah. Lots of military equipment on board that still must be offloaded & then transported back to camp, & probably require further maintainence before anyone gets to book out. -
thanks for the info. I hope he gets his men to do the work so he can come home earlier. The kids really miss him.

I know. He looks after his men well to the expense of his own family but it comes with the job lor....... some more travel a lot. Lucky not scholar, if not hours probably even longer. Hopefully his unit will be the 1st to come back.

you can call and ask them when they will arrived and also their family will received a updated call from the task force command at least once a week, so you can ask the families member for more detail -

Endurance went to TNB to pick up some stuff for the mission but think the chance it will return to CNB is much higher then TNB.
also dun count of the dignified homecoming thingy, coz we went to East timor in 1999 and never received a dignified homecoming so high possibilie that all they will received is a commendation from the chief of staff and a handshake that all.
