For example I can't even find a pic of a Singapore-made Frag grenade anywhere on the MINDEF site.
The MINDEF website guys don't realise that a website with great weapon specs and pics would attract a lot of visitors and act as a recruitment tool. It would also greatly bolster SAF's image at home and abroad.
So let's stop making excuses for the lazy and short-sighted MINDEF website guys or drop clever hints and analogies about "secrecy" leaking etc. Would posting the rpm or range of the Ultimax for example make us lose battles? -

Now our army's style is for every Bionix 25, there is one Bionix 40/50. I thought this already very clear by now, and no big secret either.
I don't know how they structure the thing but every armour unit has SM1, Bionix 25, Bionix 40/50, mix mix lah.
Even the Ang-mohs also know this already. The Military Balance (from IISS) states that we have 250 bionix 25, and 250 bionix 40/50.
And concerning Israel, the thing about IFV and APC. Well originally the idea was that APC just drive the troopers to a location then come out and fight. But for IFV, supposed to fight from WITHIN the vehicle.
Anyway all that was nonsense as the Westerners realised it's a stupid idea, so nowadays new IFVs don't have firing ports anymore. So IFVs still used like APC, troopers must debus to fight.
But of course, by now the difference is that IFV have more firepower and more armour protection.
And Israelis have APCs that are even heavier than IFV, so better protection. DOn't need IFV. -
