Is the CO still LTC Tan Pek Tong?
I hope you're not in Bravo or Delta company. I still get the shivers while passing thru that place. The most siong times in my life experienced there.....
If you are still a trainee, good luck....just endure. Sometimes it will feel impossible....but once u turn ops, it will not be too bad.Still siong lah...but at least the specs and ocifers will stop treating you like a dog. Sometimes I look at the dog and I envy him....get to walk around freely. Remember the defaulters parade, the rifle PTs, the cupboard inspection in parade squares, the bloody heavy MGB, metal toilet roll, the confinements, the late bookouts early book-ins, the mine laying, demolitions (the only fun part haha get to play with things my mum told me never to play with), the chemical warfare package, FIBUA......lots and lots more that you will experience. I think the worst part is the regimentation. But in the end, you will be proud that you endured it all to the end, to have survived the training and become the select few that form the ranks of Singapore combat field engineers.
