However, there's more to intelligence than just this and I kinda doubt that the speed of a country's news networks correspondence is a good measurement of it's Intelligence capability. Besides, aren't intel organisations media shy? -

HUMINT is only as good as the people dedicated to it irregardless of nationality or races.
If a person claims India's intel is good, why not? CIA once claimed it was good till they screw up the current reason for war, MI6 once claimed it was good till it gave CIA the screw up evidences for the current war, Israel's Mossad too claim its good but it has yet to help bring peace to the mid-east, etc.
To say that India's intel failure because it couldn't protect its head of state is not good enough reason. JFK was shot & his assassin is still unknown, Reagan was shot too, etc.
To say that because India nuclear test went undetected by U.S spy sat based on word of mouth is very immature & it shows hows little you know about spying.
But India does have a large number of Indians working in New York as cabbies( they've got no ideal where they're going ) & having small shops around the neighbourhood corners. So one may never know if they are india's spies.

And Hitler & his Nazi staff going India has got nothing to with interest with ancient India, Hitler & his Nazis are racist. Anything thats not white is not acceptable to them, so for them to go on an expedition to India or Tibet has got to be for the purpose of war planning.
