or you mean retrogade movements?
unless you have powerful shoulders, sling is best way to carry, our method for using sling can walk all the way 8-10 clicks or more no problem.
But the 84 sling is useless take and throw away, we prefer to get the GPMG sling as the shoulder piece is wider hence spread the preassure on the shoulder, for added comfort use camoflague face towel as shoulder pad. Useful bcuz part of the long towel can use to make shoulder comfortable other part can use to wipe sweat off the face.
For movement with sling, the problem is the biport always hitting the side of the leg esp when start to run or walk fast, we improved this method from begining.
First sling the weapon on your shoulder as you normally would with biport facing down, next use either hand to grab the biport and twist anti-clockwise so biport faces upwards, in the end your elbow will wrap around the biport stock and prevent it from bouncing around and depending on length of your arm your hand grabs either of the 2 gun handles.
This does not improve the weight, but our team finds it easier to carry as it is tighter which makes it easer to run with, no more biport hitting side of leg and for bash thru it also works because many times vines and small branches tends to get caught around the gun and biport, this way it is easier to remove than to try feel for it in the gloomy darkness.
