I think... It got to be GPMG with a fly-swapper like front sight.
Only in TV / movies.Originally posted by spiderweb6969:it could just be a sniper in the chopper firing.
not really, i read it in some magazine, it also show a picture of a sniper in the chopper. Must find the magazine 1st before i can scan it to show you guys. Ofcourse you can kill the enemy sniper with HMG but chances of hitting their hostage you want to res-q is also high.Originally posted by sg1960:Only in TV / movies.

Not from armament but we just refer it to SPDG (Super Puma Door Gun)Originally posted by fkh:I read the yesterday's ST newspaper.
It is about 'rescue the ship from " terrorists' ".
It said 2 Super Pumas were involved in training exercise to rescue the hijacked ship from a "terrorist group".
One Super Puma pick out terrorist snipers and other transport a team of commandos to the ship.
I like to know what weapon do Super Puma use to pick out terrorist snipers .
It used GPMGs mounted on Super Puma ?
Or a team of 2 snipers inside Super Puma taking out terrorists using sniper rifles?
I am a big fan of assault helicopters..That's why I asked..
I don't remember seeing any visitsOriginally posted by aerozapper:Visited Sembawang Air Base recently.
Gun used on Super Puma is called the Super Puma Door Gun, locally designed according to what the pilots told me.
GPMG is no longer used with the Super Puma.
As for the door gun being huge... Yes it is.
