what is my vocation?

Just got my posting today and found out my vocation is Pioneer 'S'.What does that mean exactly?

Pioneer usually would mean you go for Field Engineer training at 30SCE, perhaps now it might be at SOCE.You wil be trained in the usage of demolitions e.g Bangalore torpedoes and learn how to clear obstacles, prepare zones for AVLBs, SLBs and those engineering plants and misc equipment.
Most likely, you will be posted to an active battalion to be part of their organic Engineer platoon under HQ Coy.

So you completed your education in OZ, that's good.
As Pioneer. one word siong!!!
I am not sure what does "S" stands for, maybe "support" i.e armoured pioneer.
Anyway both Infantry or Armoured pioneer both are as siong.
For Armoured pioneer , u will eventually posted to Sugei Gedong camp and join the "Elephant" for armour training (APCC etc) after going thru some CE training , I think SOCE.
After that ,you will either remain there in AEC, or posted to an armoured unit.

It can suck, especially when you are an infantry spec taking guards privates for their AIT, and bringing them through to become guardsmen. -

Is there any chance at all of going to command school if I perform well enough during my pioneer training?
During my BMT,I couldn't go for Sit-test.First time,Jaguar coy didn't want any Charlie coy ppl attached(I'm from BMTC 1,Charlie coy).During my Charlie coy Sit-test,I was attached to Hawk(super white horses and scholars,because of them a lot of my batch cannot make it to command school) for my re-range and during the Resit-test,i came down with a bad flu right as we were about to start the 8 km fast march(courtesy of a virus that took out 9 out of 12 ppl in my section with 6 ppl attn C).
So due to a combination of circumstances,some of them partly of my own making,I wonder if there is any chance at all that I can become a commander instead of serving 2 years as an enlisted in combat engineers? -
