i have a ma9 s0liatire[ is that the c0rrect spellin?] w0rks 0n a sin9le AAA bat, anyway at least surefire has a lifetime warranty....infact all surefire m0dels use the 123A batteriesOriginally posted by Rockhound:go get a maglite......more than good......
most surefire models use 123A batteries and may seem pricey to continually get these batteries.......
imo...unless u are using it for actual ops...or got the money to splurge....its better u get a maglite or even an eveready one....

m0st pe0ple say that, ma9lite's bulbs d0 n0t last that l0n9Originally posted by chunyong:agree, the more prominent supplier for cr-123a is energizer (photo), blue color one and u do know how pricy energizer batts can cost.
imho, surefire is not needed in 90% of the situations....a maglight is more than enough and....its more efficient, less energy input, almost same brightness and last longer.
dats why they give u a sparebulb mah.....Originally posted by wonderamazement:m0st pe0ple say that, ma9lite's bulbs d0 n0t last that l0n9
s0 y0 had a Surefire?Originally posted by YellowGreen:warranty? Surefire don't give warranty for the bloody expensive bulb what, what's the diff? Charging at that sky price (& worst buying in Singapore cost even more), they MUST give warranty mah! Right or Not huh? Initially I thought SureFire really got bargain, then found out the $60+ model is a @#% plastic model & like a maglite with twist-to-turn-ON/OFF one, KNN! Half the price maybe I will consider it! Hai~
