4 eyed soldiers

I noticed that many Singaporean soldiers are bespetacled .......
Doesn't it cause potemtial problems ?
For example ,don't your glasses mists due to condensation?
Wouldn't sweat fog up your glasses?
How do ensure your glasses dont fall off when you run?
With such a large number of bespectacled people within the army, wouldn't it affect the organisation as a whole?
If so, are there any remedies that you would like to reccomend to reduce the number of myopic soldiers in the army? -

in a way idwar got a valid point.. for me it was more cos sweat was rolling down and filling my eyes and fogging the lens after the 300m run down... but then again having the spectalce is good cos its acts as a protective shield during shooting ..... nowaday even commandos and pilot wear specs so we cant help it in a way

next time the specs all damn high tech, got HUD inside tell you enemy range, and can turn into infra red mode, night vision mode, zoom mode, sonic imaging mode. lol

For comparison at 300m the fig 11 looks like the exposed lead of a shapened pencil held at arm's length. Just when it goes up idwar's arse...
Obviously IDwar never did the ATP / CTSS rundown, you can still get a good bead after running down 285m.. (go figure that one IDwar) -

Absolutely no problems with glasses.
Bear in mind, most of us speckys have been wearing them since secondary school (some even from primary school) . We are very used to them and have played all sorts of games (hockey, football... except perhaps we don't wear them while playing rugby or swimming ) wearing specs.
Seriously, thru out my NS and reservist life, and also my active school life, I have never broken my specs or been caused inconvenience by losing my specs. I have dropped and chipped the lens but not a serious damage where I can't see. I also have not seen anyone lose their specs or broke them during outfield exercises.
Maybe the SAF should sponsor laser surgery for soldiers ! -

If I remember correctly, CTSS was the shooting skills evaluation system adopted in the mid-80s. The fore-runner of whatever is today's combat tactical shooting skills evaluation system.
