i used to wear that before i went for lasik.
sometimes i forgot about it and i end up wearing it for 40-45 days.
it get's real icky around the 28-35th day though, and if you have dry eyes, falls out really easily. -

I am really old soldier era ! Even in my reservist in the 90s, I missed range for various reasons. But during my NSF time in the mid 80s, Mindef realised that the range test that was conducted was rubbish. It was composed of static shooting, eg at 300 m in foxhole etc etc. It was only one aspect of actual combat shooting, which everyone knows is mostly shooting at moving targets, on the move, behind cover and probably close ranges from 100m down to 20m.Originally posted by iveco:Meaning it was the grand daddy of the Stage B shoot?
What I remember was that they introduced (we were the guinea pigs in 1983 -4) CTSS, Combat Tactical Shooting System. Meant to test every soldier from foxhole at 300 m , moving targets at 100m, down to "instinctive shooting" at 25m. All these in one session.
I guess the shooting test has probably refined this today. -

Have you ever seen a Malaysian/UK/China/ Korean soldier wear glasses?
I don't mean the stylish dark glasses worn by the US troops in Iraq.....these are for them to hide their identity so that the freedom fighters cannot identify them for punishment //trial in a war crimes court after the end of the conflict...... -

if u guys have a really good pair of sunglasses..try this out....pick an object quite a distance away when it is sunny...and alternate wearing and not wearing the sunglasses...u'll see that wearing them makes the object come out clearer without much glare..... -

His extreme short-sightedness is really getting him into a lot of trouble. He keeps shooting himself in the foot, walking straight into traps and generally showing us what a pitiful clown he is.
