Oh? How is the whole world suppose to know? Are you telling us that the EX-Soviet union represented the WHOLE world? or is your brain really lacking in gray matter?Originally posted by idwar:Some of you dare to talk of a FIRST STRIKE by the SAF.......hah!...

hmmm.....Ivan Bond 008 is from the Queen's service and I remember he was sent as a technician of British Aerospace to service the Hawk in Malaysia. You are not supposed to mention Mat Bond, this is secret.Originally posted by idwar:In 1982, the ISD exposed and expelled two Russian spies for espionage activities in Singapore. One was Anatoly Alexeyevich Larkin, a Soviet military intelligence (GRU) officer, who attempted to cultivate a SAF army officer holding the rank of 2nd Lieutenant to conduct espionage against the SAF. The other was Alexander Alexandrovich Bondarev, another Soviet military intelligence officer, who was sent to take over a Soviet spy network which had a local agent working for it since the 1970s................
.........I wonder if Ivan Bond 008 is still in SAF?.....
.Mat Bond?........
Your not supposed to mention this, later idwar will be sitting on a hawk plane..Originally posted by sgdiehard:hmmm.....Ivan Bond 008 is from the Queen's service and I remember he was sent as a technician of British Aerospace to service the Hawk in Malaysia. As for the Soviet spy network, they now operate as mafia, stealing information for sales to the extremists in the middle east. In KL, they can steal from the British and the american and the buyers are right there. If I am not wrong, their HQ is next to Boeing regional HQ. But business has not been good, and to cut cost they even still electricity and water from the american next door, hehehe, they learn from the local very fast.
I concur.Originally posted by CenturionMBT:stupidity is on the rise . . . .
hello IDWAROriginally posted by idwar:"Recent cases include the ones when the ISD arrested two persons in 1997 and another 4 persons in 1998 under the ISA for involvement in espionage and foreign subversive activities prejudicial to the security of Singapore. Of the two persons arrested in 1997, one was a male Singapore Permanent Resident who was a deep-cover operative of a foreign intelligence service. He had used the other, a female Singaporean, as a collaborator. Of the four Singapore citizens detained in 1998, three were controlled agents for a foreign intelligence agency."
How i know this ? Because your Home minister revealed this in a reply to NMP Simon Tay in Parliament.........http://www.singapore-window.org/sw99/90122st.htm
So it appears that Spies are running wild.......even got female mata-hari working with deep cover operative....and these are those who got caught.......what about those still under deep-cover??????
I don't blame you all for being ignorant........you were probably too young to read the newspapers in 1999 when your minister spoke.......so it would be prudent to listen to stupid grandfather stories of this resident mat......you might learn something.....

Agreed. No point in always revisiting the past n not look forward, unless it is deliberate to incite unrest.....Originally posted by Blockhead:Idwar, you are obviously not here to share your interests or relevant information, but rather to incite tensions and draw angry reactions with provocative comments and statements.
I have to say this is both unhelpful and very infantile. You may not understand the implications about what you say here, but people are prone to drawing assumptions and conclusions by painting a whole country just by what they see in one person. The same goes for the others in this forum.
We are grown-ups and lets act like grown-ups. I am getting tired of threads being started as flame baits and being hijacked by vindictive comments. I would really like to be reading more mature and intelligent exchanges.
