  Even with that handy-dandy plate, it still left a mark.

  hmmmz...how does having a trauma plate compare to being equipped with a ballistic shield?And...when a Trauma plate has been shot at,it can no longer e used rite?

  Trauma plate - you wear. Depends on whether it's a 'standalone' or to be worn with proper body armor.
  
  Ballistic shield - you carry.
  
  it can be used but depends on where bullets hit, what type of bullets used, distance shot from, level of plate.
  
  not my area of speciality so i'll just shut up.
